Am I too old for boudoir?
Never. Boudoir over 40 is one of our favorite sessions, and women of every age book boudoir sessions at Artography by Bethany in West Fargo, ND, including many in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond. Every session is fully guided, so all you need to do is show up.
Can you work with areas I’m unsure about?
Yes. Posing, angles, lighting and wardrobe are tailored to you, so you feel great about every image. Just tell Bethany what you love and what you’d rather soften during your free consultation call.
Do I have to be nude?
Not at all. For example, lingerie, bodysuits, robes, sweaters or gowns are all beautiful. Above all, you choose your comfort level, and you can pause or skip anything at any time.
Who will see my photos?
Only you, unless you say otherwise. That’s because your images are private by default and are never posted publicly, on social media or in a portfolio without your explicit consent, image by image. Also, files are stored securely and delivered through a secure cloud service only you can access.
How much does a boudoir session cost in Fargo-Moorhead?
The Experience session starts with a $500 retainer that goes toward the package you choose at your reveal. Our full price guide is shared on your free call.
I’ve never done boudoir. Do I need to know how to pose?
No. Bethany directs every pose from head to toe, so you never have to know how to model. In fact, most first-time clients say their nerves fade within the first 10 to 15 minutes.
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes, with The Experience. It also includes a pre-session wardrobe consultation and fitting, the client closet in sizes XS to 6X, professional hair, makeup and lashes from artists who work with every skin type and hair color, including silver, a 2-hour guided photo session, and a reveal and ordering appointment.
Where is the studio?
Sessions are held at the private Artography by Bethany studio at 1702 4th Ave NW in West Fargo, ND, just minutes from Fargo and Moorhead. Plus, the team is all female: photographer, hair, makeup and assistant.
